• LEAK alarm (possible water leakage) appears when water flows continuously for more than 24 hours
• BURST alarm (possible breakthrough pipe) appears when the water flow is constantly high for more than 30 minutes

 

Water leaks

Case: Water leaks can waste water 24 hours a day and cause significant financial losses. Most leaks occur in the bathroom or toilet. The toilet is a common source of undetected leaks. At the same time, hundreds of liters of water can be lost every day.

Solution: If water flows continuously for 24 hours or more, a corresponding symbol will appear on the ADDRA meter screen. At the same time notification will be sent to your smartphone (if you have ADDRA app and are near the meter in the range of Bluetooth connectivity). The same alarm will be sent to the Central System and the water supply company will be able to notify you about leakage event. The ADDRA water valve can be of help here if you are not at home and will iterrupt the water supply either by command from the Central System, or by command from ADDRA water meter, if respective configuration has been applied to the meter.

Water burst

Case: Discovering water damage in your home after returning from vacation is a rude welcome.

Solution: With ADDRA system, you can avoid stresses and keep your home dry and happy while you’re away. For this purpose ADDRA water meter will register continuous maximum flow rate for a pre-set time frame (for example two hours) and will generate burst alarm. According to first scenario burst alarm is sent to the Central System while the System sends a command to interrupt water via the valve. In the second scenario the meter can be configured to give the command directly to shut-off valve to interrupt the water supply and also can send to the Central System notification about the alarm water interruption.
