At the beginning of 2018, ADD GRUP crossed the mark of 1 million PRIME meters, setting up projects of various sizes in 10 countries: Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Sweden, Georgia, India and Lebanon.

The geography of implemented projects is quite extensive, which is expressed both in customer requirements for system efficiency and in operating conditions, which are often complicated by outdated networks and the availability of equipment that generates network interference at PRIME operating frequencies.

At the European Utility Week 2018 exhibition in Vienna, ADD GRUP will present a modern water metering system based on ADDRA technology for the smart metering market.

The smart system offers many communication technologies to read data locally and remotely, according to a programmed schedule or on demand.

In 2018, ADD GRUP overcame the 6 millionth milestone in the production of smart meters. To date, more than 6 million ADDAX IMS meters are installed in homes around the world. For 26 years of work, we have implemented projects in 27 countries of the world, including Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

ADD Energy and ADD GRUP concluded a license agreement for the production of single-phase meters based on ADDAX IMS technology.

The main goal of the agreement is to make cooperation in the Ukrainian market more competitive and reduce the final cost of the product. ADD Energy, as a local manufacturer, will be able to use a number of advantages and privileges that are not available for foreign companies, and, accordingly, the price for meters will be lower for Ukraine.

The history of work with the ADD GRUP goes back to 2007. After acquisition of electricity network it was found out that the level of losses at some substations reached 20-25%. Replacement of meters did not give any tangible results. It became clear that there were physical connections beyond meters.

The Egyptian company Maasara Company for Engineering Industries is now qualified with the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) for the supply of smart meters based on the ADDAX technology developed by ADD GRUP.

Implementation of this supply will be carried out within the framework of the previously signed cooperation agreement between ADD GRUP and HERMAS Group on the production of smart meters in the Territory of Maasara Company for Engineering Industries.
