ADDRA: Protection against water losses and interference

Leaks, unauthorized connections, bursts, and interference are not just problems for water utilities and management companies—they are real losses of resources, money, and consumer trust. The ADDRA ultrasonic water meter changes the rules of the game, offering comprehensive protection at every level: from precise measurement to intelligent control and remote management.

The main advantage of ADDRA is not only its high accuracy, starting from measuring flows as low as 1 liter per hour, but also its ability to act as a full-fledged guardian of the water supply system. It detects consumption anomalies: a prolonged leak (if water runs continuously for more than 24 hours) and a possible pipe burst (with a high continuous flow for more than 30 minutes). These events are not only recorded and automatically transmitted to the system, but with a valve installed, the meter can activate it, shut off the water, and minimize damage.

The meter is also protected against any tampering attempts. If the housing is opened, a magnet is applied, or the device is installed in the reverse direction, the system immediately sends a TAMPER signal. This eliminates the possibility of fraud and ensures trust in the accuracy of readings.

Thanks to MultiRAT technology, ADDRA can independently select the most stable and reliable data transmission channel—NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, WM-Bus, Mioty—depending on which signal is stronger and more stable at a given location. This completely removes the need for the utility or operator to perform complex configurations or adaptations: a single universal meter is suitable for any region.

The built-in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.0) module, included as standard, offers even more possibilities. It ensures reliable communication with the ADDRA control valve for remote water flow limitation or shutoff. Through BLE, personnel can connect to the meter using a laptop, tablet, or smartphone to configure it, read data, or update firmware.

Consumers also have access via a mobile app: they can check readings, receive alerts about critical events, and manage water supply. Moreover, the meter supports prepayment according to the international STS standard—users can enter tokens, monitor remaining balance, track current consumption, and receive warnings when credit is running low.

All this makes ADDRA not just a metering device but a part of a complete digital ecosystem. It combines precision, reliability, and intelligent control in a single device capable of protecting against losses, interference, and chaos. ADDRA is the modern standard of water metering, created for sustainable cities, responsible consumption, and transparent utility services.
