ADD GRUP announces that it has obtained the European EU Type Examination Certificate MID No. IT-077-25-2213 for ADR-V ultrasonic water meters with integrated valve. The certification confirms compliance with the European MID (Measuring Instruments Directive) requirements for commercial water metering.
The ADDRA integrated valve can automatically shut off water when a potential emergency, continuous flow, or predefined consumption threshold is detected. This function can significantly reduce flooding risks and minimize losses for insurance companies, property managers, and building owners.
ADDRA also supports prepaid operation mode. Users can top up their balance through a mobile application, while the system automatically controls the available water consumption volume. When the prepaid threshold is reached, the meter can send notifications or limit water supply according to operator settings.
Another feature of the solution is the ability to limit water flow without completely shutting it off. For example, the valve can reduce the water supply by a certain percentage, enabling flexible consumption management scenarios and encouraging responsible resource usage. This functionality is particularly relevant for rental housing, hotels, dormitories, and facilities with controlled water consumption.
Despite the integrated valve and smart functions, the device remains compact. The meter body length is only 110 mm, allowing installation even in confined spaces where standard solutions are difficult to install.
The high sensitivity of ADDRA ultrasonic technology enables water consumption measurement starting from 0.7 liters per hour. This helps detect even minimal leaks at an early stage, reducing water losses and preventing potential accidents.
The obtained MID certificate confirms compliance with ISO 4064:2017 and MID Accuracy Class II requirements.
