Instead of relying on a single threshold or a single sensor, ADDRA uses multi-sensor analysis to confirm abnormal events. When several independent indicators point to a serious leak or pipe burst, the system can make a local decision and automatically shut off the water supply.
This creates a fundamentally new approach to protection: the water meter does not simply report a problem — it becomes part of a mechanism for preventing its consequences.
Protection independent of building infrastructure
ADDRA leak protection is being developed based on an autonomous architecture designed to continue operating even when traditional building infrastructure is unavailable.
Battery operation, cellular IoT connectivity and local decision-making reduce dependence on home Wi-Fi and the power grid — this is especially important for basements, technical rooms, vacant properties and other locations where leaks may remain unnoticed for a long time.
