This device is the result of a comprehensive engineering upgrade aimed at improving water resource management efficiency and reducing operational costs for utilities.
The key advantage of the new design is that the integrated valve does not increase the installation length of the meter. The device fully retains standard dimensions: 110 mm for DN15, 130 mm for DN20 and 190 mm for DN25. This compatibility enables quick and easy installation without modifications to existing pipelines, making the updated ADDRA an ideal solution for both system retrofits and new projects.
The model supports MultiRAT technology, allowing a single device to operate simultaneously with three communication technologies: NB-IoT, LoRaWAN and Wireless M-Bus. This approach enables utilities to standardize equipment across different coverage areas and plan scalable deployments without communication gaps.
Another key innovation is the option to connect a replaceable external Power Bank. With this external power module, ADDRA can operate autonomously for up to 30 years, including daily valve activation cycles. This high level of energy efficiency significantly reduces maintenance costs, minimizes field visits and enhances overall system sustainability. The replaceable power source also supports long-term planning and accurate total cost of ownership calculations.
In addition, ADD Grup will present a new communication concept for residential basements: a single master water meter for local clustered installations. All meters are connected via Bluetooth into a local network, while one central device transmits data to the utility via NB-IoT, LoRa or Mioty. This architecture eliminates the need for communication modules in every meter, significantly reduces project costs and ensures reliable data transmission even in challenging basement environments.
